About the Author
S.K. Ryder writes dark paranormal romance set in the same sultry, palm-shadowed South Florida she calls home — vampires included, as far as anyone can prove. Her stories reflect her deep love of nature and are filled with adventure, suspense, humor, and slow-burn romance, most notably in the Dark Destinies series, where a tormented French vampire and the mortal woman who refuses to fear him upend five thousand years of vampire history.
Before settling near the beaches that inspired the series, she lived in Germany and Canada and traveled widely, usually in hot pursuit of wild and scenic spaces. When not writing or working as a freelance programmer, she’s plotting her next scuba diving or river rafting trip, beachcombing, or getting lost in a book.
